WatchNumber 23: Scissor Sisters - Night Work
Night Work is such a step up from Ta-Dah! that it can be hard to notice it’s not nearly as good as their S/T debut. Still, it’s great to hear a record that embraces camp and smut without being entirely campy or smutty.
Also, that spoken word outro from Ian McKellen on the above track Invisible Light is worth the price of admission.

WatchBruce Springsteen and The E Street Band and a deadly horn section (Sadly not the Miami Horns) performed a mini Promise set recently. This is streaming over on Vevo and is the greatest Christmas gift Bruce has ever given to me.
As a song writer, it’s incredible to think that these songs were vaulted for 30 years. At this point, some of my best songs can’t even touch Bruce’s throw...
